TIC TAC TOE CHALLENGE FOR APRIL 2017 AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello crafty friends,

Are you excited that spring is here and finally, after a long, cold winter we see green grass and even tiny, fuzzy green leaves appearing on early bushes?  I am!  My daffodils are coming up and it's so refreshing to see them instead of snow and ice!

It's time for the Tic Tac Toe challenge for this month at The House That Stamps Built.  Here is your TTT challenge.

I went down the right-hand side, (Yellow, Washi Tape and Stenciling) but I included "birds" from the left-hand side.

The stamps used here are RI#704-G "Duckling" and RI#3906-H "Easter Blessings".  I combined stencils and sponged them with Distress Inks, Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemon.  The washi tape is the solid yellow accent piece to the left.  My cute little duckling is colored with (what else?) Copic Markers!

Check out my awesome team mates and see what incredible projects they've made with the new Tic Tac Toe challenge!

If you just can't wait for that win.....go ahead and go shopping at Repeat Impressions and use my personal10% off code RR10CW  at check-out.

I'm entering this card in the Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Color Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  HAPPY EASTER!

COLLAGE AND DELFT TILES

Hello Junkies!

Did you get to see the April Release of new stamps from Technique Junkies?  There are some pretty awesome stamps released this month and I'm using one of them here today.  It's called Flowers and Feather Collage.

The technique is called "delft tiles" and quite easy to do.  First stamp your image with embossing ink (I used VersaFine) then emboss with white embossing powder.  At this point I dragged "Blueprints" Distress Ink over the entire surface several times, getting a good ink coverage.  Wipe the ink from the white embossing and then determine the size of the panels you'll cut your layer with.  Mine were cut at 1" X 1.25".  You then lay them out on your base layer.  Simply arrange and adhere the tiles on the base layer leaving a tiny bit of the bg layer showing.

How you would like to get 10% off all your Technique Junkie Stamps?  Simply use this code TJ10CHERI at checkout and you'll get the discount.

Please visit our new FaceBook page and join in on the conversations and add some of your work with our stamps.  We'd love to see what you're creating.

Visit the Technique Junkies Blog and see the beautiful creation being showcased today!

That's it for me today....thanks for stopping by and I hope you have some crafty fun today.
