ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE FOR MARCH 2017 AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hey there blog friends....it's finally spring....can you feel it?

We're having the all time popular Anything Goes Challenge at The House That Stamps Built this week.

I made this card in honor of spring....I've missed it and now it's here!!!! I couldn't be happier!!!!  This card uses RI#1603-K "Bouquet Bear" and RI#1921-G "I Miss You Beary".

I used a water color panel, stamped the bear image with Archival Ink.  I colored it with Copic Markers then made a mask and masked it while I sponged some Distress Inks together then sprinkled some water over the ink.  I then stamped the sentiment. Before removing the mask, I sprinkled some water diluted black acrylic ink across the panel.

I hope you'll join in on the challenge.  The details, and what you could win, can be found at The House.

Take a look at what these awesome ladies have created for the ATG challenge.

HELLO CUPCAKE WITH SPONGING

Hey there, Junkies,

A very quick post today.  I had some fun making this very quick card using the sponging of various colors of Distress Inks and the new Hello Cupcake stamp set. This is an awesome set!

To make this card, I sponged on the diagonal then colored the various cupcakes with Copic markers.  I also highlighted and did some doodling with my white gel pen to help make the image pop off the background.

After I finished coloring, I splattered some black acrylic paint on the layer with my paint brush.  I like the detail that gave the bg.  I had a scrap piece of designer paper so I used it to accent the layout.

I hope you find ways to use this technique with some of your stamps.

Thanks for stopping by.
