CAS CHALLENGE AT OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES

Hi blog friends!!!

I'm here to tell you about another fun CAS challenge over at Outlawz.  This week Pryn is challenging us to a One Layer CAS challenge:

"OLC" With a Twist Challenge: This challenge calls for a ONE (and only one) layer creation. You basically are stamping directly onto your card base. Any theme, any stamps, any colors....the choice is yours!

This is not an easy challenge.  We all know when we're making multi layered cards, if there's a mistake or if something wonki happens, we can find a way to "fix it" with a button. flower, ribbon....something that covers the oops...but this is not the case with this type of challenge.  So have some fun...meet this challenge and post your cards at the CAS challenge link at Outlawz Challenges.

Here's a card I created

The stamps I used or this are from Papertry Ink - "Chair-ished Stamp Set".  I colored the images with Copic Markers.

Thanks so much for stopping by....I hope you'll join Pryn's CAS One Layer Challenge at Outlawz this week.  There are some awesome prizes being awarded.

WHAT IF? WEDNESDAY AT REPEAT IMPRESSIONS

Hello and happy Wednesday, blog friends.....hump day is here again and so is WIW at Repeat Impressions and The House That Stamps Built

What If? Wednesday means a sketch challenge from Wendy and this week she's created this sketch for us.

Are you inspired?  This is such a fun sketch and there are many ways to create with it.  Come on over to The House That Stamps Built and play along with us.  Just created a card using Wendy's sketch for this week and link it up at The House.  If you use a Repeat Impressions stamp, you'll be entered into the drawing twice....but you don't have to.....you can use any stamp you like and you'll be entered into the drawing.  If you win....you'll get a $25.00 gift certificate for some fantastic Repeat Impressions stamps.

I decided to get a jump on my Christmas cards....here's what I came up with.

Thanks for stopping by, now check out my RI Teamies for more fabulous inspiration using the WIW sketch.

So glad you stopped by, I hope you'll play along with us.

STAMPTV CSS SKETCH CHALLENGE JULY BLOG HOP

Hi blog friends!!

The CSS Team is here with a sketch challenge and hop for you - and there's a prize being offered...

"Make sure to leave a comment as you go along because we will choose a random comment and that stamper will win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! Look for the announcement on Tuesday, July 16."

If you came here from the incredibly talented Betty Neville's blog you're hopping in the right direction.  If not, you'll want to start at the BEGINNING so you won't miss one incredible post or inspiration using this sketch.

Here is my card using this sketch.  I flipped it a bit (I'm left handed, lol).  I haven't used Washi tape much at all and have had this roll of roses for quite a long time and I don't even know where I got it.  When I began coloring the image it reminded me of this roll of tape and I thought maybe I could create a background with it.   So, here's the results of that.  I liked it...I hope you do.

Stamp set:  Year of Flowers 2
Card Stock:  GKD Pure Luxury White and Moonlit Fog

Now, please hop on over to the blog of my super talented friend Geri Utterback's blog and see what she's created for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by...enjoy the hop and don't forget to comment so you can be entered in the prize drawing.
